Memories of Ian Wright
My two greatest memories of Mr Wright are - When he scored the record equalling goal at Highbury and took his shirt off to reveal the Nike vest saying "179 Just Done It" and then seeing his face when he realised the mistake. I was at THOF that day with my son but it wasn't long before the mistake was corrected.
The second one was when he was on This Is Your Life. It was nice to see how humble a man that graced our pitch with such confidence, poise and skill, could be on such a great occasion and to see how grateful he really was to all around him for giving him the opportunities in his career. Ian with the FA Cup, personally i was dissapointed when he didn't come on for the last ten minutes of that final, along with Nutty don't think theres ever been an Arsenal player who could celebrate like him
